India has won 32 matches out of 45 when tendulkar has scored a ton which is a huge 71%.
He has scored his 32 match winning centuries against different teams (of which more than 75% are against strong teams). Thelist is as follows - australia--9, new zealand --5, srilanks -5, kenya -4, zimbabwe-4, west indies-3, south africa-2, pakistan-1 & namibia -1
Tendulkar has scored 17 tons while chasing a huge score & india has won 15 times (whopping 88 %). Some of his most popular innings are while chasing, the one against Aus in WB series downunder, the one in sharjah, the innings against pakistan in WC etc. to name a few (almost managed single-handedly in hyderabad this time).
Maybe this was a long time back, bUt in recent times also India has won last 4 matches out of 5 when he has scored a century ( 80%)
To ppl who say that all his Man of the match awards are useless as we end up losing like we did against aus recently - Tendulkar has won 60 MOM's, and 54 of those innings were those that led India to a victory (90%), & 8 times out of 8 he got the MOM award in the finals (Classic 100 % success rate).
Icing on the cake: Apart from the 60 MOM awards, he has be named man of the series 16 times.
